Compliance Glossary for Confluence

What is a reissue handoff?

A reissue handoff is an evidence package for external document control. Production v6 binds an affected artifact to its glossary slice, baseline, archive, change context, and required external actions. The handoff records that execution is external and false inside the app. It does not approve, issue, or sign the document.

How it works

  1. Calculate impact for the approved change.
  2. Select the affected retained artifact.
  3. Confirm its glossary slice can be generated.
  4. Select Download reissue handoff.
  5. Validate the handoff identity and hash.
  6. Complete reissue and approval in the external system.

Example

A term change affects a controlled procedure. The handoff includes that procedure's retained identity, the relevant frozen meanings, usage evidence, baseline and archive references, and required external actions. The document-control team completes revision, approval, issuance, and signatures in its qualified system.

What this does not mean

The handoff prepares evidence and scope. It does not replace document control, a QMS, release approval, or signature execution. External owners remain responsible for the controlled reissue process.
