Compliance Glossary for Confluence

Can Confluence support controlled terminology evidence?

Yes. Compliance Glossary adds governed term records, review, scanning, frozen baselines, impact analysis, traceability, and verifiable exports to Confluence. It helps teams preserve what a term meant, where it appeared, what changed, and which governed evidence supports a decision. It does not turn Confluence into a QMS.

How it works

  1. Configure Term Managers (RBAC).
  2. Create and approve governed terms.
  3. Run Compliance Scanner for the required spaces.
  4. Resolve findings and coverage gaps.
  5. Create an enterprise freeze for the controlled scope.
  6. Verify, trace, and export the deposited evidence.

Example

A regulated team changes the meaning of “material incident.” The app preserves the approved version, finds governed usage, freezes relevant page revisions, and shows connected evidence. Leaders can reconstruct the recorded decision without treating Confluence as the release or signature system.

What this does not mean

Compliance Glossary supports terminology governance and connected evidence. It does not provide legal advice, certify compliance, replace a QMS, approve releases, execute signatures, or create legal WORM storage.
