Compliance Glossary for Confluence

Does the app execute signatures?

No. Compliance Glossary does not execute electronic signatures. It can preserve approval references and prepare a controlled reissue handoff for an external system. The production handoff contract fixes execution to external only and records that execution is false. The qualified release or quality system remains responsible for identity, intent, signature, and approval controls.

How it works

  1. Freeze and verify the required evidence.
  2. Review affected artifacts.
  3. Select Download reissue handoff.
  4. Transfer the package to the approved external system.
  5. Complete approval and signatures there.
  6. Preserve the external evidence reference with the release record.

Example

A quality team prepares 40 affected documents for controlled reissue. Compliance Glossary provides the artifact list, glossary slices, change context, and evidence references. The organization's QMS controls the final document approval and electronic signatures. The app records no signature execution.

What this does not mean

The handoff supports external work. It is not a signature service, release authority, QMS, or legal opinion. Organizations must validate their own signature system and process against applicable requirements.

Next step

Keep signature execution in the qualified system that owns release approval.
