Compliance Glossary for Confluence

What is affected when a requirement changes?

Start from the frozen requirement and use Forward impact to see connected governed evidence. Production v6 can traverse approved or imported links to documents, code references, tests, deviations, terms, and release gates. It reports broken or moved endpoints. Candidate links remain separate and do not expand the governed result.

How it works

  1. Open Enterprise evidence workspace.
  2. Search for the frozen requirement.
  3. Open its retained evidence.
  4. Select Forward impact.
  5. Review documents, code, tests, deviations, terms, and release gates.
  6. Open the evidence for each retained hop.

Example

A component requirement changes after a safety review. Forward impact shows the approved code reference, its validating test, a deviation, and a release gate. The team sees which governed artifacts need review. An unapproved suggested link stays outside this result until it is reviewed and accepted.

What this does not mean

The graph reports deposited relationships. It does not discover every dependency in source systems. A missing edge does not prove that no dependency exists. Teams must maintain complete approved links and visible coverage evidence.
