Compliance Glossary for Confluence

Does the app replace document control?

No. Compliance Glossary does not replace document control. It governs terminology, scans usage, preserves exact evidence, calculates impact, and prepares external reissue handoffs. A document-control or quality system still owns document approval, issuance, effective dates, distribution, signatures, training, and withdrawal under the organization's controlled process.

How it works

  1. Govern the terminology used by controlled documents.
  2. Scan the relevant Confluence spaces.
  3. Freeze the required release evidence.
  4. Calculate impact when an approved meaning changes.
  5. Download the artifact slice and reissue handoff.
  6. Complete document control in the qualified external system.

Example

A term change affects a controlled procedure. Compliance Glossary identifies the governed links and prepares the evidence handoff. The external QMS controls revision approval, signature, issue date, training, and release.

What this does not mean

The app is not a QMS, document-management system, page-approval workflow, training system, or signature service. It provides terminology and supporting evidence controls.
