Compliance Glossary for Confluence

Which app fits terminology evidence?

Choose Compliance Glossary when the controlled object is a term: its approved meaning, history, page usage, findings, and frozen evidence. Choose a page-approval app for sign-off, document control for lifecycle states, requirements software for traceability matrices, and audit management for audit programs. No single app covers these jobs. Start with the evidence object your reviewer must inspect.

How it works

  1. Name the item that must be controlled.
  2. Choose term, page, document, requirement, or audit program.
  3. Define the evidence an auditor or reviewer must receive.
  4. Check Cloud or Data Center compatibility.
  5. Review permissions, data handling, trust signals, and support.
  6. Validate the workflow with one representative record.
  7. Use more than one app when different evidence objects need separate controls.

Example

A regulated policy uses the term “material incident.” The definition needs a separate approver, version history, and usage findings. The page also needs final sign-off. Compliance Glossary governs the term and its evidence. A page-approval or document-control app governs the policy page. Neither control replaces the other.

What this does not mean

This is a job-based comparison, not a ranking. Marketplace descriptions are supplied by each vendor. They are not independent test results. Product compatibility, pricing, permissions, and trust signals can change. Confirm the current listing and run a proof-of-concept with your own evidence requirements before purchase.
